Lastly, a picture from last night, one thing I love seeing is luxury off roaders with side step damage like this...which you only get one way; taking a very capable car further off road than is reasonable without removing plastic garnish. Good job lx guy.

That’s kind of true. I know my parents had a Cherokee Limited with running boards before I was born, and my dad screwed up the running boards by attempting a U-Turn over a median with a slightly higher break-over angle than the Jeep had.

I have a really hard time telling what year a 70 series might be.

Fair point, I guess that could also be the case but it makes me happier thinking he did it using his of roader off road

Well if it has front fenders it’s older than 2007 and if it’s in the us it’s older than 92

Yeah, my parents had a ‘98 Dodge Ram when I was in high school and my mom bent one of the nerf bars on a particularly crusty snowbank while turning a corner.

Good points. Though I did see a Toyota Prado in Wilmington, NC once upon a time. Totally looked like a GX, but it wasn't. I was confused.

which you only get one way; taking a very capable car further off road than is reasonable without removing plastic garnish.

Or by turning into a concrete pylon hidden in your blindspot in a parking lot of a coffee shop like my younger sister did to my dad’s truck. Or by jumping one of those planters they put in between parking spots like an ex girlfriend did in her Probe once.

Are you on ih8mud.com yet? All that stuff is there. I didn’t add the switch to mine but it’s cake (plug and play) though you need the part number for the switch. I also did the 7th pin mod but that’s slightly trickier. Happy to answer any question you have

It really is just a matter of finding that part number, knocking out a blank, pulling the trim off the center, finding the harness port and plugging it all in. Its easy peasy. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Imthe same user name there as here, btw.
